first_imgA round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…Following recent reports that Chelsea want to re-sign Romelu Lukaku from Everton, the Express suggest the Blues will table a bid for the striker. The Sun on Sunday claimed at the weekend that Chelsea want Lukaku to return to Stamford Bridge and would have to pay double the £28m they sold him to Everton for in 2014.AdChoices广告The Express have followed that up by claiming Chelsea are preparing to ‘swallow their pride’ by making a £58m offer.Manchester United are also said to be keen on Lukaku, who has scored 23 goals this season.Lukaku was unable to establish himself as a first-team regular at ChelseaThe Express also pick up on another Sun story – Anderlecht midfielder Youri Tielemans being linked with a possible move to the Bridge.Chelsea’s Eden Hazard is apparently a close friend of the 18-year-old and the club supposedly believe he can persuade Tielemans to sign for them.Meanwhile, Chelsea are ready to send midfielder Jordan Houghton out on loan again, according to Teamtalk.com.Houghton, 20, was at Gillingham earlier this season. The League One club opted not to extend his loan spell. Follow West London Sport on TwitterFind us on Facebooklast_img read more

The swastika is the Nazi symbol. You will see planes from WW2 that have and don’t have the swastika. If the unit was associated with the SS or part of Himmler’s forces, that unit used the swastika. Some pilots of the Luftwaffe chose not to have the swastika on their planes as they hated the Nazis and were just pilots or soldiers and not part of the Nazi Party.Goering, head of the Luftwaffe, was a leading member of the Nazi party and, until 1945, Hitler’s heir-apparent as Fuehrer. Until the rise of the Waffen SS, the Luftwaffe was the most Nazi of the German armed services. The Luftwaffe was more dedicated to the Nazis than the other services. it owed its growth to the Nazis.hitler made some quote about the navy been christian, the army Prussian and the air force National socialist. It’s all matters of degrees. The Iron Cross certainly predates the Nazis and is in use well after the Nazis. It is not an unacceptable symbol, if anything, it is a great symbol of imperial Germany and even of German might. However, that takes on many connotations even today. Every time there is an overly strong Germany, bad things happen. There still is a ton of trepidation using anything even reminiscent of that era, and rightfully so. Hitler wasn’t particularly fond of it, but it was on the canton of their imperial flag and it was used often with medals and symbols, though it was used with red, rather than simply black and white as the Prussians used it.I would be very careful about use of color. Black Iron Crosses on red with white and black or even gray would be very reminiscent, and therefore bad. Put it in a white circle, and it’s even worse. You put that cross in other colors (blue and gray are common today, white might also work well), and you might be fine. The cross itself is not bad. No, it was not an exclusively Nazi symbol. But even reminding people of the wrong era will result in plenty of very bad things, especially for public relations. I would look to the Maltese Cross first (look at photos of von Richtofen, he wore his proudly), and I would look for more squadron logos from the era (I know Eddie Rickenbacker had his own logo, that stuff was just becoming popular. Maybe something from that, though maybe not historically accurate, would work well for a team), or best yet, make a logo that looks like it would be home on the side of a Fokker Dr. I triplane that features a football. There are plenty of wonderful Germans – ones who condemned Nazisim – and there’s nothing wrong with Germany gaining power. In fact, under NATO’s Nuclear Sharing Program, the United States has actually developed and given nuclear warheads to… Germany. If you know anything about the culture of modern-day Germany, you’ll know that they’ve taken extreme measures to prevent a Nazi return. Hitler’s writings are outlawed. first_imgEarlier today, we covered reports about bids from West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers for Gedson Fernandes. Now it’s time to talk about the Premier League sides who are still to make their attempt to sign the Benfica midfielder. These are Everton and Chelsea, according to the Portuguese press. The Toffees’ name has been mentioned in this saga for a few days now, with the Blues’ interest seeming more recent, as it was first reported by the English media in the middle of this week.Newspaper O Jogo mentions both clubs today. They say although West Ham have made a bid, both Chelsea and Everton are still to make their offers for Fernandes.Embed from Getty ImagesIt’s said Chelsea are interested in signing the midfielder on a loan deal until the summer of 2021. Although it had previously been reported by the English media, it’s interesting to see a Portuguese outlet confirming it with their own sources. Now since it’s claimed that West Ham’s bid for the 20-year-old should be analysed in a meeting today, Chelsea and Everton better hurry up with their chases, or they should end up missing out on him.Given it’s the same agents who have been offering Fernandes around in England, we believe Blues and Toffees are well aware of how things stand with other clubs.by Taboolaby TaboolaSponsored LinksSponsored LinksPromoted LinksPromoted LinksTrending TodayForge of Empires – Free Online GameIf You Like to Play, this Game is a Must-HaveForge of Empires – Free Online GameUndo聽多多 Hearmore.asia1969年前出生的香港居民現可免費試戴頂尖的歐洲助聽器聽多多 Hearmore.asiaUndoRaid: Shadow Legends | Free DownloadEven Non-Gamers Are Obsessed With This RPG Game (It’s Worth Installing!)Raid: Shadow Legends | Free DownloadUndoSmart Tech TrendOver 55? first_imgEven the resignation of President Josep Bartomeu cannot dissuade himA one-page A4 document sent to Barcelona’s main office by fax on Tuesday night stressed the management and brought fans into riot in front of the stadium. In it, the big star, the legend, the symbol of “Barcelona” Lionel Messi demanded that his contract be terminated. According to the Marca newspaper, the Argentine has activated the clause according to whichevery year untilJune 10 maytrigger a clausefrom your contractfor early departure without the consent of the other party.Of course, June 10 is long gone, but Messi’s team claims that due to the coronavirus pandemic, the season has actually been extended and all deadlines should be extended accordingly. Of course, the legal department of “Barcelona” does not agree and it is no wonder to go to court.Maybe it should be clarified what a bureaufax is. It may exist only in Spain and may be somewhat similar to the registered letter in Bulgaria. One party gives the document or letter in question by post, from where it is sent to the recipient. This way, the sender can be sure that they will not say that they did not receive it at all.According to the journalist of the Brazilian media Esporte Interativo Marcelo Behler, who was the first to write that Neymar was going to “Paris Saint-Germain”, on August 16 Messi told the management that he planned to leave by activating the famous clause. The main Barcelona newspaper Mundo Deportivo claims that the main reason for the star’s anger and his decision to leave isthe probablereleaseof Luis SuarezHe and the Uruguayan are very close, their wives are friends, and it is claimed that after 2: 8 from “Bayern” the players have spent several hours together talking about the future of the team.Sport, also from Barcelona, believes that Messi expressed dissatisfaction with the dismissal of Ernesto Valverde and the illogical appointment of Kiki Setien. It was thought that the possible resignation of President Josep Bartomeu could make the legend remain, but according to the latest news, this will be useless. But according to RAC 1, the reason is completely different and lies in the new coach Ronald Koeman. In a personal conversation, the Dutchman explained to the six-time winner of the Golden Ball that“Your privilegesended andnow you will have toto thinkmainly for the team, and not just for yourself. ” To top it off, Messi was furious when specific quotes from his personal conversation with the Dutchman appeared in the Spanish and Argentine media.Fun fact – if Messi leaves and the unwanted Suarez and Rakitic are sold, the only player in the club who scored a goal for “Barcelona” in the Champions League final will be coach Ronald Koeman. The Dutchman has once been scalded by an attempt to purge veterans in Spain – when he was coach of “Valencia” in 2007. Then he also began a purge of veterans and said that Albelda, Canizares and Angulo are unnecessary. Then the team was in 4th place, but only a few months later it fell to the relegation and took last place in its group in the Champions League. Kuman was fired, the trio of veterans returned to the field and “Valencia” took four victories in the last five rounds. Around that time, the “bats” player Joaquin wrote on social media that he hoped that the Dutchman would one day take over “Barcelona” to allow another team to take the title in Spain. The main candidates for Messi are Inter (his father had bought a house in Milan), Manchester City (he spoke on the phone with Guardiola and Aguero) and Paris Saint-Germain, where his friend Neymar is.last_img read more

first_imgDue to anti-coronavirus measures, the poles not only missed the end of the season, but also the big summer preparations. The coach of the first-league hockey players from Jihlava, Viktor Ujk, had to laugh at a two-day quarantine of his darkness, but he also literally at the last minute. The first-time hockey player in Jihlava was preparing for the coronation due to coronavirusWe didn’t play much, we don’t have any feedback as we are, on our shoulders at the arrest of the new Chance League race. So we can respect what we want to achieve in the seasons. How big a complication was it for the thirteen-day thorns’ loss of the whole must in the summer preparations?Of course it was unpleasant, thirteen days is too much for the parties. In addition, we played a minimum of time, almost days. And if the rules don’t change in any way, we have a very strange season. Not much will happen. I don’t know everyone will be healthy. What do you suggest? It’s about common sense. It would like the horse to start grinding and the horse can be used even by those professionals who are recognized by us in the country and in the world and who claim that covid is a lace. In addition, currently with a weak or low course. If we chase after someone who will be without signs, and we determine that he is positive, and the whole consequence will not be thorn, it will be easy to shit. You have a relatively fresh experience with that.I sold it sick, my whole family. And I have to honor: I’ve never had such a nice lace. It also holds a horse for grinding. Who wants to go to hockey, and go to him. Who is afraid and do not go. And sit at home am rouky. That’s his thing. But he will think of it as a free people, not as before 1989.The situation in Jihlava calmed down. None of the nakaench teenagers had to go to the hospitalHrsk kdr Dukly passed in lt exchange. How satisfied are you with the dark now?I think we are very sunny. The healthy core we needed or wanted stayed here. This is the longest for me. There is a healthy competition between the boys, they have to prove that they get the city in the line-up on each blackthorn and in each pass. It seems to me that now it is darker than last season. We have to show the chore in dleitch and vypjatch moments on the ice. Names are nice, but it depends on how the whole team will work. If everyone can accept their role, how they will work and if they will take the ego above their own.m would you like to present yourself in the seasons? When we are healthy, we will try to play as best we can. If mono attractive to make it a spectator in Jihlava liked. Try to do the maximum, fight for the puck. Hrt hockey as Jihlava played in the extra league. Fighting, with completed battles. Hockey hurt here, nobody wanted to come here. And what about the specific fully built on the table?Of course, we follow the darkness around us as they strengthened who drove from the extra league to the Chance League. I think there were a lot of interesting names in the competition. But let’s find out what it will look like, and let’s run into the soupee. Let’s see what kind of services we have, like them. It starts to break in me, and sometimes around November, December, when the number of hearings decreases. Only there will it be seen who is able to play hockey and how who can play.last_img read more

Photo/Leo ValdezSenior Sebastian Archer capped off the drive with a 14-yard rushing touchdown, followed by a successful two-point conversion pass from quarterback Drew Collins to Nick Stever.Suddenly Montague had the lead and held on for a thrilling 14-7 victory in the Division 6 state semifinals at Mount Pleasant Community Stadium. The Wildcats are now one win away from a Division 6 state title. They’ll take on Jackson Lumen Christi next Friday at 4:30 p.m.at Detroit’s Ford Field in the state championship game.“It just took us time to wear them down,” said Montague head coach Pat Collins. “I love playing football that way. Those hogs up front really got in there, and we were able to wear them down. I’m proud of how we played old school football.”The successful offensive drive gave the Wildcats their first lead of the day.In the first half both defenses battled and made each offense settle for unsuccessful field goal attempts, before the Gladiators broke the scoreless tie with 19.8 seconds left in the second quarter.St. Francis went 47 yards over eight plays. The drive was capped by a one-yard touchdown run by George Mackey, which gave the Gladiators a 7-0 halftime lead.Kenyan Johnston breaks up the St. Francis pass. The extra point kick failed, and the Wildcats trailed 7-6.The two teams traded possessions before Montague started the fourth quarter with the ball at their own seven-yard line, marched downfield and took the lead for good. The Montague defense was stingy after that, allowing several first downs but ultimately standing tall. The Gladiators marched to the Montague 27-yard line before punting the ball away with just over three minutes left in the game. The Montague offense started at its own 3-yard line, but managed to run out the clock on seven straight rushes by Stark.Stark led the Montague rushing attack with 153 yards and one touchdown on 32 carries while Archer added 62 yards and one score on 12 carries.Evan Eilers reaches out to deflect the St. Francis pass. Photo/Leo ValdezCollins totaled 92 yards on 9-for-17 passing for the Wildcats.“It’s easy,” said Stark, talking about how the offensive line opening up holes for him to run through. “I kind of hide behind my blockers and let them do their thing, and then eventually I’ll try to pop in a hole.”The Montague defense was led by Brennen Schwarz, who had an interception, and Matthew Tarket, who had a fumble recovery. The Gladiators were led by Danny Passsinault with 98 rushing yards on 16 carries while Evan McGee added 83 yards on 11 carries. On Friday, the Wildcats will play for a state championship for the first time since 2009, when they won their second straight title.“It’s a great feeling,” said Collins about what it means to the Montague program to get back in the championship game. “These kids deserve it. It’s a tribute to all of the guys who came before them as well, and helped us reach this level.”The emotion of getting to a state championship game wasn’t lost on Stark.“It’s the best feeling I’ve ever imagined in my life,” he said. first_imgWith the global sporting industry especially football expected to suffer a financial crunch during this current Covid-19 pandemic, Golden Jaguars Football Captain Sam Cox opined that smaller nations such as Guyana might require financial assistance from their respective Governments to ensure stability of their respective programmes. He made this statement during an exclusive interview with Stabroek Sport. According to Cox, while the focus should be on health to overcome the current global situation, financial aid from respective governments and international federations for smaller countries might be required to offset the economic damage incurred after the situation abates. He said, “Maybe something needs to be done in terms of some of the lower ranked countries like ourselves (they) maybe need some kind of financial package from the Government or FIFA or some of the bigger organizations to ensure that programmes are still being able to run. I am sure the federation is on course with that and trying their best to ensure that the programmes continue running as they were once this is all over. Again the main priority and message is health and safety, we will play football again and there is light at the end of the tunnel.”Cox, who is also former Tottenham Hotspur academy alumnus stated that the current situation has dealt a setback to the Golden Jaguars’ push for possible CONCACAF Gold Cup Qualification, a feat if achieved would be the nation’s second ever appearance in the prestigious championship. He added, “At this time health and safety is the priority so it’s a setback for everyone. It’s not just Guyana but every single industry and person across the globe that is being affected by this so yes it’s a setback and we did have momentum heading into the two fixtures. With Barbados and possibly having won that game Trinidad and Tobago.”The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) confirmed that the 2021 Gold Cup Playoff Qualifiers against Barbados this month has been suspended by CONCACAF due to the spread of the novel coronavirus (NCoV-19).Guyana was set to face-off against Barbados in a home and away series on March 26th and 31st respectively. The first match was to be held in Barbados with the Golden Jaguars to host the return leg five days later at the National Track and Field Centre, Leonora. According to Cox, “However at the end of the day, health and safety is priority in this time of unprecedented crisis that we are going through. There will be a day when football resumes and in the meantime we just have to ensure the health and safety of our friends, family and loved ones is at a premium. We have to listen to Government guidelines until cleared as to when football can resume again.”He added, “As in the meantime we just have to stay as fit as we can, stay in contact with each other and just take care of each other. That is the main priority. In terms of the financial implications, this is something that has affected most industries and they will be major economic setbacks.”last_img read more
